We are wrapping up our Computex 2007 coverage with a quick look at a few products that caught our eye during this year's show. While we desperately wanted to bring you Barcelona and X38 results, neither platform was truly ready yet for benchmarking. Hopefully, we will have test results in the near future but for now we need to get back to the job of providing reviews for products we already have in-house.

Enermax
Enermax offers a complete line of power supplies and related products for the PC.

Enermax was showing off a demo system that had two Intel Xeon 5150 processors, SuperMicro X7DA8 MB, Sapphire X1950Pro Dual, and 18 Seagate 7200.10 250GB drives running off their Infinity 720W power supply.

One of the more interesting power supply lines we noticed at the show this year was the Enermax Liberty lineup. Not so interesting for the power ratings or design, as just about everyone has 400W to 620W power supplies, but for the fact that even their 400W system is certified for CrossFire operation (up to X1950XT) and even comes with the 6+2 pin adapter for the new PCIe 2.0 spec cards.
CoolerMaster
CoolerMaster offers a wide variety of cooling products that includes a complete lineup of power supplies and cases.

CoolerMaster was featuring their new Real Power Pro 1250W power supply that complies with the newest Intel standard ATX 12V V2.2 and SSI standard EPS 12V V2.91simultaneously. In addition to Quad GPU compatibility , Quad CPU support, and an 85% efficiency the power supply also features a unique six +12V rail design.

There was also the revised Gemini S cooler that features a flexible bracket design that supports two 80mm or 90mm fans or a single 120mm fan and is designed specifically for mid-tower cases.
CoolJag
CoolJag is a new player in the retail cooling market and we had a very interesting meeting with their technical personnel. They will be releasing new cooling products into the retail channel shortly that emphasize a combination of performance and great acoustics.

Their premier product will be the Falcon 92AI that features an Aluminum Fin design with a Skiving Copper Base. The fan is 92mm x 25mm design with a "true" 18dBA to 27dBA rating with operational speeds varying from 1200rpm to 2500rpm.
Scythe

Scythe had several new products in their booth this year but the Zipang cooler caught our attention. The unit will feature cooling performance on par or perhaps even better than the Infinity series according to Scythe when it is released next month. We will bring you a review of this new cooling unit once our retail sample is received.
Thermaltake

Thermaltake can always be counted on to provide several interesting products but our favorite product at the booth this year was their various SwordM case setups. Why? They grab your attention and are so over the top in features that you even if you do not care for the design, you have to hand it to Thermaltake for including every option but the kitchen sink in this unique case series. This particular Ferrari yellow case emphasized air cooling while a similar Ferrari red setup included their water cooling solutions.
Antec

Antec was displaying several new case design but a couple stood out from the rest. Their new M-P180 series takes all of the features from the full size P182 and compresses it into a mini-tower case designed specifically for uATX board designs. The case features a top mounted 200mm fan, removable drive bay cages, quiet design parameters, and should be available in August.

The new Twelve Hundred series is an update to one of our favorite cases around the lab, the Nine Hundred Series. Antec has listened to their users and is now including easy access fan filters for the front fan mounts, a specific water cooling version designed with a built-in large radiator tank and access points, and a 200mm fan top mount fan with the option of an additional 200mm fan for the door. .
Compro

Compro had several new products at the show this year with their new DTV3 technology running on Windows Vista being one of the more impressive demos we noticed in the TV Tuner market. In conjunction with the new E900MCE tuner card, we were able to display up to nine unique windows on Vista with each one running a separate TV or Video In line feed. This included the ability to run multiple TV feeds in the Vista Sidebar.
Patriot Memory

Patriot Memory was displaying several of their USB flash drives with their Xporter XT being one of our favorite USB flash drive series and an award winner in our upcoming USB flash drive roundup.

Patriot has always been one of the leaders in providing high performance DDR2 memory at reasonable prices and their new 10100 series is no exception. We have this memory in the lab for review and will have test results later this month.
X38 Boards

All of the major board suppliers were showing off X38 board designs with Intel's Bonetrail being displayed in the Corsair booth running their new DDR3-1333 memory. DFI previewed a reference board design and promised us that the board will launch in August with several unique BIOS and design features from the house of Oskar Wu. Foxconn seemed very serious about gaining traction in the enthusiast board sector with their X38 design featuring their new OxCCO memory lineup. In early testing, we have been very impressed with the X38 chipset and although it runs a little hot, we think the enthusiast sector will really embrace this chipset when it is released in August.
Goodbye?
We think Gary is finally done with Computex stuff now. Although we just scraped the tip of the iceberg of products available at Computex this year we need to get back to our regularly scheduled articles....
